Our holiday cottage in Dorset is on the popular Baiter Park in Poole, an area popular with holidaymakers and ideal for a Dorset family holiday. It modern and fully equipped, with all bedding and towels provided. The property has sea views from all windows. From the side garden and balcony (outside the main bedroom) there are extensive views across the harbour to Sandbanks.
Baiter Park is close to Harbourside Park which has an excellent public slipway and a large car park. The park is also popular with land based kite flyers and the ground is particularly suited to those with buggies and land-boards.
The sheltered waters of Poole Harbour are an ideal venue for windsurfing, kite-surfing, kayaking, sailing and fishing.
Close by is the indoor swimming pool, Lighthouse theatre, town centre, bus and train stations and Poole park. Also within walking distance is Poole Quay with many bars, restaurants, shops and boats offering trips to Brownsea Island, Wareham and along the Jurassic Coast, Poole Museum, Poole Pottery and the Ferry terminal to France should you fancy a day out further afield.
A short drive or bicycle ride away is the award winning European blue flag beach at Sandbanks.
The property is currently for sale, therefore please note we can only take bookings 3 months in advance. The property will only be available for prospective buyers to view during the turn around period on the Saturday so your privacy will be respected.
